I am always hunting for ideas for our sustainable home-a home we will either build or renovate the eco way. I like how a splash of paint can transform anything and provide a new look, with minimal impact on the planet. Not everything needs to be brand new and mass produced to make a house feel like a home. That’s why I tend to paint when something needs a new lease on life. Although, a wide variety of paints do contain toxins and carcinogens which harm your environment and continue to release over the years to come. A little research and you will find a heap of eco friendly paints. I’ve found ecolour which is an Australian based company selling certified carbon neutral paints. A few others you may be interested in are- Bio Natural Paints , Painted Earth and Livos. Once you get a hold of a paint which is both kind to the planet and your health you might like to try out these ideas.
