Seven Women was founded in 2009 when ‘seven women’ were found working out of a tin shed in Nepal as a result of discrimination against their disabilities. The Seven Women Project was founded by Stephanie Woollard, who went on to teach the women skills in felt making and handmade goods and designed beautiful pieces to sell back in Australia. 100% of the profits have gone towards building a skills training centre, now training and employing 450 women! This project continues to empower marginalised and disabled women thanks to Steph and the support of the Australian community.
